What personal information we collect
We only collect and use personal information from you if it is relevant to our relationship with you such as to fulfil your requests, supply you with goods and services, or to assist our internal administration and operations including accounting, record keeping and so forth. The amount of information we collect about you depends on what information you provide to us, how you use our Website, and what goods and services you purchase.
When you make requests (online, by email, phone, fax or mail) for products and services we may ask for your contact information such as your name, email address, address and phone number. Specifically when you purchase goods or services we will also ask for billing details. We also collect information about your use of goods and services, technical information about your equipment and IT systems, and any preferences you may tell us about.
We also collect statistical information when you visit our website, complete surveys or use our Services. For example our web servers may record information about your visit, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the name of your Internet service provider, the Internet address of the previous website you have visited, the date and time of your visit, the type of browser you are using, and the pages that you accessed at our website.
At times you can submit information about other people. For example when you participate in our ‘Refer a Friend’ program you will need to submit the recipient’s name and email address, or when you order gift certificates you will need to submit the recipient’s name, email address and/or address.
We do not collect sensitive information, such as your political or religious beliefs, ethnic background or sexual preference.
How we collect personal information
Personal information may be collected directly from you through an application (including submitted online, by email, by mail or by phone) for goods or services, indirectly from you such as through monitoring your usage of goods and services (eg the collection of information of your usage of our website including through cookies), from publicly available sources of information, or from third parties such as our related companies, credit reporting agencies, or your representatives. We only collect personal information by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way.
Although all information that we ask for is purely voluntary if you choose not to provide certain personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the services you require, or the level of service on which we pride ourselves on.
How we use your personal information
Generally the personal information you provide will be used to

If you have agreed (opt-in) to receive our newsletter or other promotional e-mail such as information about our goods and services, special offers, or information on our partner’s products that we think you will find of value. Each e-mail communication includes an unsubscribe link allowing you to stop delivery of that type of communication. Make sure to change your preferences for each account or e-mail address you have left with us.
Disclosure of personal information to third parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone else. However, if it were necessary for us to disclose some of your personal information to reputable companies or individuals it would only be in the following limited circumstances.
- We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
- We believe it necessary to provide you with goods or services you have requested
- We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information or providing the goods or services you require on our behalf. We may share non-personal, de-identified and aggregated information for research or promotional purposes. However, we will never identify or disclose individual customer information for these purposes.
At all times, we ensure that your information is secure and that you are afforded a high level of privacy protection.
Security of personal information
We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure and confidential any information (either electronically or paper based) which we hold about you. We use a variety of up to date security technologies, processes and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, electronic versions of your personal information are stored on limited access, secure servers which are located in controlled facilities to protect it against unauthorised access.
We frequently review and update our security systems to ensure that your personal information is always afforded the best standards of protection available. Additionally we take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when we no longer need it. Wherever practicable we will provide you the option of interacting with us anonymously.
Please note: While we are able to protect personal information that is provided during the course of business, we cannot take responsibility for data loss or corruption from any provision of goods or services by us. It is your responsibility to ensure that your data and any important information has been removed and/or backed-up in order to safeguard this information.
When we provide you with services, sometimes access to, and incidental copying of, your personal and confidential data is unavoidable. We will always attempt to limit our interaction with your files to a minimum. However, it is your responsibility to ensure all of your data, files and any other important information is adequately secured and backed up to safeguard it from exposure, loss, corruption or inaccessibility.
We have the ability to diagnose and solve your hardware and software issues remotely via the Internet. In order to use this service we will provide you with the necessary software that you will need to run on your computer. By downloading and running this software you are giving us permission to remotely access your computer system for the purpose of diagnosing and solving your issues.
To assist us in effectively troubleshooting and providing a fast resolution to your problem you may be prompted to accept our request to collect and send to us relevant technical information about your computer. All of the technology is permission-based and does not send personal or other sensitive information contained on your computer. We may also record our sessions with you through the remote service for quality control and coaching purposes.
You can access personal information
You have a right to access, change and update your personal information that we hold about you at anytime. This is subject to some exceptions allowed by law. You can access your information by sending us your request (see “How to contact us” for our details). We will first need to establish your identity before information will be disclosed. This service is free unless the personal information you request requires significant preparation time. Before we act on requests of this nature, we will tell you how much this service will cost. We will respond within 14 days.
Changing and deleting personal information
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. We recommend that you let us know if there are any errors in your personal information and keep us up-to-date with changes to your personal information such as (but not limited to) your name, email address, phone number, billing and mailing addresses.
If you want us to delete the information about you on our records, please let us know and we will do our best to delete it unless we need to keep it for legal reasons. Our policy is to destroy unused information in a secure and confidential manner.
Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. By not accepting cookies will not prevent you from accessing the Website, however it may mean that you are not able to take full advantage of the services on the website. Email and spam
We may contact you at the email or other addresses you disclosed in order to provide you with information about goods and services, or other information which you may have an interest in.
If you are receiving promotional information from us that you do not wish to receive any longer, you may remove your name from our list either by utilising the unsubscribe button at the end of the email or contacting us (see “How to contact us” for our details). Please allow up to 14 days for this request to be processed.

Our website may provide links to other websites that are outside of our control. While we are committed to your privacy, we are not responsible for the privacy practices and conduct of companies linked to our website. We strongly recommend that you examine the privacy policies of any linked website before disclosing your personal information on any such website.
